Vakalatnama has been filed on behalf of OP-1. Sh. Amandeep Singh, counsel for the OP-1 as well as the complainant, have made the following statement, recorded separately: - Statement of Sh.Amandeep Singh, Counsel for OP-1. The matter has been settled and as per settlement, the OP No.1 company will pay a total sum of Rs.10,000/- to the complainant including the cost of mobile handset in question i.e. Rs.8000/- cost of mobile handset and Rs.2000/- compensation , towards full and final settlement of the dispute. The amount will be paid within 30 days from today. Statement of Sh.Gurleen, Complainant in person. I accept the above offer made by ld.Counsel for OP No.1. However, I shall return the mobile handset alongwith accessories i.e. charger, battery and headphone at the time of receiving the payment from OP No.1. Therefore, I withdraw the present complaint, subject to making payment by OP-1, as agreed. The case be disposed of accordingly. In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it is ordered that OP-1 shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- in full & final settlement of the dispute within 30 days from today, failing which the OP-1 shall pay the above said amount along with interest @18% p.a. from the date of filing of the complaint till the date of realization. Parties shall be bound by the statements made before this Forum. Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned. | |
