CONSUMER COMPLAINT NO.  696 OF  2015

Shobha Khokhar Vs Micromax Company and ors.

PRESENT:

                   Sh. Devinder Kumar, counsel for the complainant

                   Sh. Amandeep Singh, counsel for the OP-1.

ORDER

                    Vakalatnama has been filed on behalf of OP-1. Sh. Amandeep Singh, counsel for the OP-1 has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                   “The OP-1 offers to pay Rs.18500/- (Rs.15500/- as invoice price plus Rs.3000/- as cost of litigation) to the complainant in full and final settlement of the dispute.  The amount will be paid within 30 days from today”. 

                   Sh. Devinder Kumar, counsel for the complainant has made the following statement, recorded separately: -

                   “I accept the offer.  The complaint be disposed of accordingly. I shall return the accessories and defective mobile phone to the OP-1 at the time of receiving of the payment”.

                   In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties, it is ordered that OP-1 shall pay a sum of Rs.18,500/- in full & final settlement of the dispute within 30 days from today failing which the  OP-1 shall pay the above said amount along with interest @18% p.a. from the date of filing of the complaint till the date of realization.

                   Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.

                   Certified copy of this order be communicated to the parties free of cost. After compliance file be consigned.
