The present complaint was filed under Consumer Protection Act, by the complainant (hereinafter referred as ‘CC’ for short) against the Opposite Parties (hereinafter referred as “OPs” for short) Under Section 12 to 14 of the Consumer Protection Act 1986 (Old).
2. Ld. counsel for both the parties heard through Video Conference and after submitting some arguments the matter was settled between Ld. counsel for the Parties. Ld. counsel for the OP offered to pay Rs.3000/- as lump sum to the complainant, statement of Sh. Deepak Vashishth recorded to this effect through Video Conference. Sh. Prince Gupta counsel for the complainant also agreed to settle the dispute for Rs.3000/- as Lump sum. Ld. counsel for OP noted down the Mobile number of Sh. Prince Gupta, Ld. counsel for the complainant and he assured to make the payment to Sh. Prince Gupta, counsel for the complainant. Accordingly the present complaint is allowed to the effect that OP will make the payment of Rs.3000/- as Lump sum to the complainant otherwise the complainant shall be at Liberty to recover the same through Court of Law along with interest at the rate of 12% P.A from the date of purchase of product i.e 15.10.2011 till the date of payment. Copies of the order be supplied to the complainant and the OP as per rules. File be sent back to the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Mohali for consignment .
