ORDER

The complaint is partly allowed with following reliefs:-

The OP is directed to refund to the Complainant a sum of Rs. 15,576/- being the sum of Hotel Admiral Padova room charges $ 265 @ Rs. 13/$=11,395/- plus transport expenses from Padova to Venicle E.44/- @ Rs. 65/E. and phone call charges to OP of Rs. 1,321/- along with interest @12% p.a. from 03/06/2008 till final payment.
To pay an amount of Rs. 25,000/- towards mental stress and agony which the complainant had to undergo on the said tour;
The OP is also directed to pay Rs. 25,000/- to the Complainant towards the cost of the present litigation.
In case the said amount of Rs. 25,000/- is not paid after the appeal period, the same will carry interest @12% p.a. till final payment.
