Order be complied within 30 days after preparation of copy of this order failing which complainant shall be entitled to invoke the jurisdiction of this Forum as per law….”
2. On March 11th, 2014, when complainant visited Yamuna Nagar, his car became out of order due to some defect in the steering. The complainant had purchased a part of steering from the respondent for Rs.395.95 vide bill No.4807 dated March 11th, 2014 (Exhibit C-1). The Maximum Retail Price printed on the part was Rs.224.77/-. The complainant raised objection to the respondent but to no avail.
3. The complaint was partly accepted by the District Forum and issued direction to the respondent as mentioned in paragraph No.1 of this order.
4. Learned counsel for the appellant has urged that the amount of compensation awarded is on lower side and deserves enhancement.
5. The District Forum has directed the respondent to refund Rs.171/- which was charged in excess from the complainant and also awarded Rs.1000/- compensation to the complainant. This being so, the complainant has been adequately compensated and as such, no case for interference in the impugned order is made out.
6. The appeal is therefore dismissed.
