This case record is taken up for consideration for passing order in respect of the revision application submitted by applicant side for reviewing the order passed by this District Commission on 5.1.2024.  This matter has been contested by the OPs but no written objection has been filed.

The argument highlighted by Ld. advocates of both sides has been heard in full.  Considered submission.

Perused the review application and also examined the materials of this case record.

It appears that the impugned order has been passed by this District Commission on 5.1.2024 but this review application has been filed on 23.2.2024 which is after the delay of 18 days.  As per section 40 of Consumer Protection Act 2019 review application is to be filed within 30 days.  But the applicant side has not followed this legal provision.  Moreso there is no explanation of delayed filing of this review application.

All these factors are clearly reflecting that the review application is barred by limitation.

In the result, it is accordingly,

That this RA case being no.6/2024 be and the same is dismissed on contest.  No order is passed as to cost.

Let this case record be tagged with the original case record of CC-140/2022.
