Final Order / Judgement

                                                                Case No.  CC/18/2022

10

17.07.23

Today is fixed for steps by the Complainant. No step is taken by the Complainant. The record shows that no step was taken by the Complainant from the day of admission till today i.e. on 17.07.23. Notice was served upon the OP on 11.04.22 but no S/R received till now.

The case of the Complainant as per materials on record is that the Complainant alleged that the Complainant got a call from the OP concern for doing two health insurances to his parents where it was offered from the OPs end with the medical coverage. They also entitled medicine expenditure quarterly after filing the bill and after discussions with the OPs officials Complainant had been given the necessary documents for his parents to buy the insurance procedure in last week of December, 2020 and also paid Rs. 15,697/- through SBI cheque being No. 300598 dt. 04.01.21, that after waiting for some days the said Complainant has been received only one health card which belongs to his mother being policy No. 23-20-0033009-00 but his father’s health card has not been given to him, the said Complainant asked for the reason for the same and on 20.03.21 he was received a health card which was issued in the name of his father but that was not from the OP concern.

We peruse the materials on record. We find that the Complainant took no step on 05.04.22, 11.04.22, 30.06.22, 21.09.22, 13.01.23, 27.04.23, 14.07.23 and today i.e. 17.07.23. Moreover, considering the facts and circumstances of the case we are of the view that the instant case has no merit as the Complainant is not at all interested in the case.

In view of the matters discussed above we are of the view that the instant case is liable to be dismissed on merit.

In the result, the Consumer case fails.

Fees paid are correct. Hence, it is

                                              Ordered

that the complaint Case No. CC/18/22 be and the same is dismissed on merit against the OP.

Let plain copy of this order  be supplied free of cost, to each of the parties / Ld. Advocate/Agent on record, by hand  /by post under proper acknowledgment  as per rules, for information and necessary action.
