          Ld. counsels for the complainant and opposite party requests to put up the file for today and Ld. counsel for the complainant also moved an application for putting up the file for today, accordingly file is put up today and Ld. counsel for the opposite party has made the following statement

‘Stated that opposite party is ready to give lump sum Rs. 28,00,000/- (Rs. Twenty Eight Lacs only)  to the complainant as full and final settlement in the matter in question.’

          On this the complainant has made the following statement

Stated that I have heard the ibid statement of the counsel for the opposite party and I accept the offer given by the opposite party and today I have received the original cheque No. 935876 dated 30.3.2022 for Rs. 28,00,000/- (Rs. Twenty Eight Lacs only) payable in the name of Lovepreet Singh (myself) drawn on Axis Bank Ltd. DLF Gurgaon (HR), Gurgaon as full and final settlement in the matter in question (Photostat copy of the cheque is Ex. OP-Y) and I can indemnify the better claimant who comes forward in future in regard to claimed amount. Now nothing is due towards the opposite party of the complainant and I do not want to pursue the present complaint further and same may be dismissed as withdrawn being fully satisfied.

          In view of ibid statement, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised. Copy of order be supplied to the parties as per rules. File be consigned to record room.
