On the last date of hearing i.e. 10.11.2021 Ld. counsel for the opposite party No. 1 has made the following statement

 “Stated that as per instructions of the company, the opposite party/company wants to settle the matter with the complainant on humanitarian ground and on behalf of company I offer Rs. 51,000/- refund to L.Rs. of complainant and also ready to provide single pay premium policy to the complainant party for Rs. 1,00,000/- without receiving any amount from the L.Rs. of complainant. If the L.Rs. of the complainant ready to accept the offer, it will take one month to honour the above said compromise/ offer.”

On 10.1.2021 Ld. counsel for the complainant has made the following statement:-

“Stated that I have heard the statement and ibid offer given by the opposite parties and accepted the same.”

          Today Mahinder Kaur w/o Harbans Singh has made the following statement

“Stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and on 10.11.2021 the opposite party No. 1 has given offer to the complainants which we accept. I have no objection, if the policy and amount of Rs. 51,000/- which is agreed to be given by the opposite party No. 1 be given to Sukhwinder Kaur i.e. wife of deceased Baljit Singh.”

          Today Gursitar Singh son of Baljit Singh has also made the following statement:-

“Stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and on 10.11.2021 the opposite party No. 1 has given offer to the complainants which we accept. I have no objection, if the policy and amount of Rs. 51,000/- which is agreed to be given by the opposite party No. 1 be given to Sukhwinder Kaur i.e. wife of deceased Baljit Singh”

          Today, Sukhwinder Kaur wife of Baljit Singh on her behalf and on behalf of minors Ekambir Singh (son) and Harnimrat Kaur (daughter) has also made the following statement:-

“Stated that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and on 10.11.2021 the opposite party No. 1 has given offer to the complainants which we accept. I am accepting the policy and amount of Rs. 51,000/- which is agreed to be given by the opposite Party No. 1 on behalf of all L.Rs. of deceased Baljit Singh. I am liable to indemnify the above policy and amount if any better title holder of deceased Baljit Singh comes to claim the same.  I do not want to proceed with the present complaint further and same may be dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised.”

          In view of ibid statements, the present complaint is dismissed as withdrawn having been compromised. The parties are directed to remain bound by their respective statements. Copy of order be supplied to the parties as per rules. File be consigned to record room.
