THIRU. M. MONY, PRESIDENT

 

This complaint has been filed by the complainant against the opposite party under section 12 of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 praying to refund a sum of Rs.17,500/- being advance paid and to pay a sum of Rs.4,65,000/- towards compensation for mental agony, metal torture and depression faced by the complainant and bridegroom family and cost of Rs.17,500/- to the complainant.

The complainant’s Counsel filed a Memo stating that the case is settled in Mediation Centre.   Hence, Memo recorded.  In view of the Memo, this case is dismissed as withdrawn.  Memo and Mediation Order form part of the order.
