By this application, the original complainant (respondent in this revision petition) has sought review of the order dated 13th July 2011 by which the revision petition was allowed on the ground that the electric connection in question of the respondent was for commercial purpose and hence, the respondent could not qualify as a onsumerunder section 2 (1) (d) of the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. We have considered the grounds set out in the review application. It is well settled that an application for review is not a substitute for an appeal. The order was based on the record and a clear statement of the Counsel for the caveator/ respondent/complainant during the hearing. The review application is accordingly dismissed.
