We agree with the view taken by the State Commission that there was no manufacturing defect in the car.  For the problem/defect of entering of water in the car, the State Commission has awarded a compensation of Rs.15,000/- which, in our view, is adequate.

-2-

Petitioner has been using the vehicle for the last 11 years without any problem except that the water entered once in the car.  This cannot be termed as a ‘Manufacturing Defect’.  No merits.  Dismissed.
