ORDER

This judgement is pronounced in the open court on seperate sheets of paper today. The complaint is allowed. The opposite parties are directed to pay Rs.1,07,802.00 being the repayment amount of Fixed Deposits held by the complainant which were to mature on various dates in March-April 2000 along with an interest at 18% p.a. from 1-5-2000 to the date of realisation. The opposite parties are further directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- as compensation towards mental agony suffered by the complainants due to deficiency in service rendered by opposite parties and also pay Rs.500/- being the costs of prosecuting this complaint. The opposite parties shall comply with this order within 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this judgement and order, apart from bearing their own costs of this proceedings. Send the certified copies of this judgement and order to bothsides parties by RPAD.
