The complaint is allowed in part and the opponent no.1 is directed to replace the defective battery with a new one  and also to pay the compensation of Rs.3,000/- and cost of Rs.2,000/- to the complainant.

     The opponent no.1 is directed to comply with the aforesaid orders through the dealer opponent no.2 within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

     In case of default to comply with the aforesaid orders within  the stipulated period of 45 days, the opponent no.1 is liable to pay the damages of Rs.50/- per days from the date of default till the date of compliance of the aforesaid orders.

     Complaint against the opponent no.2 is dismissed. However, the opponent no.2 is directed to assist the complainant and the opponent no.1 for the compliance of the aforesaid orders.
