AWARD

          Vide his separate statement recorded on 14.08.2024, the OP No.1 stated that as per settlement, he agrees to pay an amount of Rs.80,000/- to the complainant in four equated monthly installment of Rs.20,000/- each payable by 7^th of every month starting from September,2024 and it will be towards full & final settlement of the entire dispute in the present consumer complaint and it be disposed of in the upcoming National Lok Adalat to be held in Sept., 2024.

2]        Vide separate statement, the complainant along with his counsel also stated that he admits the aforesaid statement of the OP Manoj Jindal. He also stated that he also withdraws the complaint qua OP No.2 and the complaint be disposed of as per amicable settlement arrived at with the OP as stated above.

3]        In view of the statements of the parties and in terms of the settlement, the complaint stands disposed of by passing the following award:-

1. The OP No.1 is directed to pay an amount of Rs.80,000/- to the complainant in four equated monthly installment of Rs.20,000/- each payable by 7th of every month starting from September, 2024
2. In case the OP No.1 defaulted in any of the installments, aforesaid, then he shall be liable to pay the said defaulted amount, along with interest @9% per annum from the date of default till its actual payment to the complainant.

4]        The award is accordingly passed. Complaint stands disposed of in above terms.

5]        Certified copies of this order be sent to the parties free of cost. The file be consigned.
