Order Passed

In the present appeal, parties have arrived into an amicable settlement.  A joint application for compromise has been moved by both the parties.  A cheque of Rs. 8,21,561.64ps. has been handed over to the respondent by the counsel for Insurance Company to Smt. Manjit Kaur-complainant-respondent.  She has been identified by Sh. Diwas Subba, Advocate.

Therefore, appeal is disposed of in terms of compromise. The same shall form part of the order.  No order as to costs.  The impugned order stands modified to the above extent.

The statutory amount deposited by the appellant-Insurance Company at the time of filing the appeal be released in appellant’s favour.
