Present: Sh. Umesh Kumar, Adv. for complainant alongwith complainant. Sh. Vinod Kumar Chahar, Adv. for OPs. Ld. counsel for the opposite parties made a statement that a full and final settlement has been agreed to between OPs and the complainant for Rs.2,15,500/-(Rupees two lakh fifteen thousand five hundred only). As per settlement the complainant will get the vehicle registration transferred to the name of insurance company and the said agreed amount will be paid to the complainant within two months by the OPs and failing which they will be liable to make settled amount with interest. Ld. counsel for the complainant had made a statement wherein he confirmed that full and final settlement has been agreed to and complaint be disposed of accordingly. He also stated that he will hand over the vehicle and all all related documents related to handing over of the vehicle to the insurance company. In view of the statements made above by both parties in regard of full and final settlement, the present complaint is hereby settled/disposed off with direction to the opposite parties to pay the agreed amount of Rs.2,15,500/-(Rupees two lakh fifteen thousand five hundred only) to the complainant within two months from the date of this order, failing which opposite parties shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% per annum from today i.e. 13.09.2024 till its realization to the complainant. Parties shall be bound by their respective statements. Copy of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost. File be consigned to the record room after due compliance. |
