MA No. 522/2018 is an application for restoration against order dated 03.07.2018, with a prayer that the cost imposed earlier of Rs.5,000/-, which has not been deposited, be waived. The order dated 03.07.2018 is reproduced below:- “Vide order dated 2.2.2018, M.A. No.33 of 2018 had been allowed and the revision petition was restored subject to payment of cost of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited within four weeks, i.e. within first week of March 2018. This has not yet been done. The main counsel for the petitioner is also not present to plead this revision petition. Given the manner in which the revision petition is being pursued, it is clear that the petitioner has no interest as such. The revision petition is therefore dismissed for non-prosecution.” Heard the learned counsel. On the ground that he was himself personally ill, MA no. 522/2018 is allowed and the revision petition once again is restored subject to cost of Rs.5,000/- to be deposited with ‘Consumer Legal Aid Account’ by way of demand draft with this Commission within four weeks, failing which this revision petition would stand dismissed automatically. List on 30.10.2018 for directions. |
