            Complainant has purchased 3 meter PVC transparent sheet  16 in numbers and 2.5 meter PVC transparent sheet 16 in number as per invoice No.A17048 has a prize of Rs.19,710/- from the opp.party’s shop on 14.3.2009.   The whole sheet were kept outside on 15.3.2009.  On the next day when the labours came, 5 sheet were seen damaged.  Complainant informed the matter to the opp.party and  after  sent notice but not get relief.  Hence filed this case.

 

Opp.party were not turned up  and not filed version, even after accepting the notice from the Forum

 

          Complainant was examined as PW.1 and marked three documents as P1 to P3.  Heard the complainant.

 

          After verifying complaint, affidavit and documents we are of the view that there is deficiency in service and unfair trade practice on the side of the opp.party and  the complainant is entitled to get relief of the damaged sheet.

 

          In the result complaint is allowed.  Opp.parties are directed to pay Rs.3500/- to the complainant for the damaged sheets.  Opp.parties are also directed to pay Rs.2500/- as compensation and Rs.500/- as transportation charges and Rs.1000/- as cost to the proceedings.
