                                      O R D E R

By  Sri.P.K.Sasi, President :

          The case of the complainant is that he has deposited Rs.15,000/- on 27/5/05 vide receipt No.27567, Rs.35,000/- on 31/5/05 vide receipt No.29135 and Rs.1,00,000/- on 4/2/06 vide receipt No.1/1403  with the opposite parties firm  believing the promise given  by opposite parties that the doubled amount will be returned after 7 ½ years.  After maturity time when he demanded the deposited amounts with benefits offered opposite parties neither returned the amount deposited nor the benefits offered.  Hence this complaint.

 

          2. The opposite parties remained absent and set exparte.

 

          3. The complainant filed affidavit and Exhibits A1 series to A3 were also marked.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

 

          4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the opposite parties are directed to return the doubled amount of Exhibit A1 series 3 deposit receipts with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the  date of filing till realization and Rs.2,000/- (Rupees  Two thousand only) as cost with in one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
