The case of the complainants are that the complainants had deposited Rs.12,500/- (in 4 receipts) and Rs.13750/- (in one receipt) with the opposite parties vide receipts Nos.222041, 222034, 222705, 222710 and 222707 on 24.4.06 and 25.4.06 respectively. They were offered that the amount will be doubled within 7 years.  Believing these words, the complainants were approached by the opposite parties, but they never returned the amount so far.  Hence the complaint.

          2.  The opposite parties were remained absent and set exparte.

          3.  The complainant filed affidavit and Ext. A1 series (5 nos.) to A3 series (2 nos.) marked.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

          4.  In the result, the complaint is allowed and the opposite parties are directed to return double the amount of Exhibit A1 series (5 nos.) with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of filing till realization and cost Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
