          The case of the complainant is that the complainant had deposited Rs.10,000/-, Rs.2,500/-, Rs.10,000/-, Rs.10,000/-., Rs.10,000/- and Rs.58,750/-  with the respondents on 3-11-2005, 1-11-2005, 3-12-2005, 20-1-2006, 7-2-2006 & 11-2-2006 vide receipts no. 120178, 119455, 134769, 162023, 172527 and 316703.  It was assured that the amounts will be doubled for 6 years.  But no amount returned so far.  Hence the complaint.

 

2.  The respondents are set exparte

 

3.  The complainant filed affidavit and Ext. P1 to P3 documents

 

4. Exhibit P1 series (6 Nos.) are the receipts produced by complainant to show the deposit amount with the respondents.  According to the complainant these amounts along with the double benefit are not returned.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

 

5.  In the result, the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return the double amount of Ext. P1 series (6 Nos.) with interest of 12% from the date of filing of complaint till realisation with cost Rs.1000/- (Rupees One thousand only) within two months from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
