                                      O R D E R

          The case of the complainants is that the 1st complainant and 2nd complainant deposited Rs.2,500/- each on 13/10/05 vide receipt nos. 97809, 97799 respectively. It was assured that the amount will be doubled within 7 ½ years.  Since  the opposite parties failed to refund the amount as promised, a lawyer notice dated 7/1/15 was issued. But no amount is returned so far.  Hence the complaint.

 

2.  The respondents are set exparte

 

3.  The 1st  complainant filed affidavit and Ext. P1 to P4 series documents.

 

4. Exhibits P1 and P2 are  the deposit receipts produced by complainants to show the deposit amount with the respondents.  According to the complainants these amounts along with the double benefit are not returned.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

 

5.  In the result, the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return the double amount of Exts. P1 and P2 with interest of 12% from the date of filing of complaint till realization with cost Rs.3,000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

         

            Dictated to the Confidential Assistant, transcribed by her, corrected by me and pronounced in the open Forum this the 31st  day  of  October      2015.
