The case of the complainant is that the complainant had deposited Rs.1,250/- and Rs.7,500/- with the opposite parties vide receipt Nos.28810 dated 31/5/05 and 40328 dated 20/6/05.  They had  offered that the amount will be double within 7 ½  years.  Complainant had demanded the doubled amount so many times.  But they never  returned the amount.  So she sent a lawyer notice for demanding the amount.  But no remedy so far.  Hence the complaint.

          2. The opposite parties are remained absent ad set exparte.

          3. Complainant  filed affidavit and 3 documents, marked as Exhibits A1 to A3.  Exhibit A1  is the deposit receipt to show the deposited amount.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

          4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the opposite parties are directed to return the double amount covered by Exhibit A1 with 12% interest from the date of filing till realization and cost Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
