By  Smt.Padmini Sudheesh, President :

The case is that the complainant had deposited with the respondents Exhibits P1 series amounts.    It was promised that the double amount of the deposited amounts will be returned on 7 years.  But no amount is returned so far.  So a lawyer notice was issued, but of no remedy.  Hence the complaint.

          2. The respondents remained exparte.

          3. The complainant filed affidavit and Exhibits P1 series to P3 documents.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

          4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return the double amount of Exhibits P1 series amounts with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of  complaint till realization with costs Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One thousand only) within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
