O R D E R

The case of the complainant is that the complainant had deposited Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) on 21/7/05 vide deposit receipt No.62293. It was assured that the amounts will be doubled within 7 ½ years.  After promised maturity period complainant sent a lawyer notice demanding the money back.  But no amount returned so far.  Hence this  complaint.

 

          2.  The opposite parties were remained continuously absent and set exparte.

 

          3.  Case posted for complainant evidence on 16-1-2015.  Complainant is present and filed proof affidavit and Exhibit A1 Deposit Receipt produced.  No amount returned despite several demands made by the complainant.

 

          4.  In the result, the complaint is allowed and the opposite parties are directed to return double the amounts covered by Exhibit A1 deposit receipt with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of filing till realization and cost Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) within one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
