The petitioner has filed this case with prayer to direct the opp.parties to install a new meter in respect of Consumer No. KI-0249 which has been damaged, to provide bills according to actual power consumption, to give a revised bill, pay compensation of Rs.50,000.00 only and litigation charges of Rs. 10,000.00 only to the petitioner.
2. Opp.party No.1 i.e Executive Engineer, CESU has appeared in the forum and filed letter No. EGS/DMS/TED/T33 dt.18.5.16 of Enzen,Talcher as written version.
3. Subsequently the petitioner and opp.party No.2 filed a joint compromise petition which was posted to 21.6.2016 for consideration. On that day i.e on 21.6.2016 opp. party No. 1 and 3 filed authorizations separately in favour of opp.party No.2 to conduct and proceed in this case. Opp.party No.2 signed on the compromise petition for himself and for opp.party No.1 & 3. Thus, the compromise is in between the petitioner and opp.parties. In the compromise petition both the parties have agreed that the petitioner shall pay Rs. 20,923.00 only to the opp.parties towards full and final settlement of the claim of the opp.parties and the opp.parties shall not demand anything more to the petitioner towards arrear electrical dues till end of May, 2016.The compromise petition is allowed.
4. Hence ordered:-

The petitioner shall deposit Rs. 20,923.00 (Rupees Twenty Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Three) only along with a meter before the opp.parties within 20(Twenty) days of this order and the opp.parties shall acknowledge the same and grant proper receipt . The opp.parties shall not demand anything more to the petitioner till the meter is installed and bill according to the actual new meter reading is supply to the petitioner. The opp.parties shall install the meter within one month of receiving the same from the petitioner or else for everydays default a fine of Rs. 250.00 (Rupees two Hundred Fifty ) only will be imposed on the opp.parties besides other action.
