ORDER

order dated 24/10/2000 We direct that LIC shall pay the insurance amount of Rs.30,000/- under policyNo.721561424 with interest at the rate of 10.5% per annum from 20-1-2000(Date of refusal to pay full amount) till payment to the complainant Smt. Ida D'Souza LIC shall pay to the complainant insurance amount of Rs.50,000/- under the policy No.721576941 with interest at 10.5% per annum from 20.1.2000(Date of refusal to make full payment)till payment. We direct that LIC shall pay the complainant Ida D'Souza insurance amount of Rs.10,000/- towards policy bearing No.622820604 iwth intrest at 10.5 % per annum from 20-1-2000( date of refusal to make full payment) till payment. Respondent LIC shall withhold the loan amount of Rs.2,090/- with interst at 10.5% per annum out of the aforesaid policy amounts from the date of loan. LIC shall withhold a sum of Rs.6,099/60. The premium payable under the policies Nos.622820604 and 721576941 and adjust the said amount towards the premium amounts. The complainant is entitled to costs of this proceedings at Rs.1,000/- from the O.P. LIC shall comply the above said order within 2 months from the date of receipt of this order. sd/- M.
