JUDGMENT
Complainant has filed the consumer complaint U/s.35 of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 seeking a direction to opposite party to deposit the entire NCP amount and comply clarification letter of EPFO and claim Rs.1,50,000/-.
The relation between complainant (her husband) and opposite party is that of employer – employee relationship and complainant cannot be treated as a consumer as defined U/s.2(7) of Consumer Protection Act, 2019 under the EPFO Act the EPF Commission is a statutory authority to adjudicate the dispute. Hence the complainant being not a consumer the consumer complaint is dismissed being not maintainable. No cost.
