Shabeg Singh Versus SBI General Insurance 

 

Present:     DH in person alongwith Shri Rakesh Sharma, Advocate.                    

                  Shri Gaurav Gupta, counsel for JD.

 

        File taken up on an application for putting up the case file and to withdraw the present execution petition.

        File taken up.

        Learned counsel for DH placed on file copy of order dated 18.10.2023, passed by Hon’ble State Consumer Commission, Haryana, whereby appeal filed by the JD/appellant has been dismissed.

        Learned counsel for JD also appeared and suffered his separate statement to the effect that the appeal filed before the Hon’ble State Consumer Commission has been dismissed. He further stated that the OP/company has not preferred any appeal before the Higher Authorities and the company has no objection, if the awarded amount already deposited with this Commission be released in favour of DH.

        Heard.

        As per report of Accountant, an amount of Rs.1,26,684/- is lying deposited in the account of this Commission, in compliance to the order dated 31.05.2023 of the Hon’ble State Consumer Commission, Haryana.

        Keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for JD, Accountant is directed to prepare the cheque in the name of DH to the tune of Rs.1,26,684/-.

        File taken up after lunch hours.
