 The complainants’ case in a nutshell is as follows: - The complainants are the legal heirs of the deceased Albin.   Albin was the policy holder of the opposite parties.  The policy amount was Rs.2,00,000/-( Rupees two lakhs only).  On 21^st January 2010, Albin succumbed to death in an accident.  The complainants preferred a claim for the policy amount before the opposite parties, and the same was repudiated. Got aggrieved on this the complainants approached this Forum for compensation and other relief.

2. On notice being served the opposite parties turned up and filed version. Mean while the matter was settled consequent to the negotiations between the parties before this Forum. The opposite parties offered the policy amount of Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakhs only) to the complainants.  The complainants accepted the said offer, and as earlier observed the matter has been settled.

In the light of the settlement arrived on between the parties, the opposite parties are directed to disburse the policy amount of Rs.2,00,000/-  (Rupees two lakhs only) to the complainants.  The opposite parties shall comply with the order within 30days of the date of the receipt of this order.
