The case is that on 28/7/05 and on 8/5/06 the complainant had deposited Rs.15,000/- and Rs.20,000/-with the respondents respectively. It was made to believe that double amount will be paid on 7 years. But no amount is paid so far. So a lawyer notice was issued. But no remedy so far. Hence the complaint.
2. The respondents remained exparte.
3. Complainant filed affidavit and Exhibits P1 series to P3 documents. There is no evidence to the contrary.
4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return the double amount of Exhibit P1 series amounts with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of complaint till realization with costs Rs.500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
