                                                O R D E R

By  Smt.Padmini Sudheesh, President:

          The case of complainant is that  she had deposited with 1st respondent Rs.20,000/- on 11/7/05, Rs.20,000/- on 5/11/05, Rs.20,000/- on 7/1/06 and Rs.21,250/- on 21/1/06.  The receipts were issued by the respondents also.  It was promised that double amount of the deposited amount will be given on 7 years.  But no amount is returned so far.  So a lawyer notice was issued by demanding the amount.  Hence the complaint.

 

          2.The respondents remained exparte.

 

          3. The complainant filed affidavit and Exhibits P1 series to P4 documents.  There is no evidence to the contrary.

 

          4. In the result the complaint is allowed and the respondents are directed to return double amount of Exhibit P1 series amounts with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of complaint till realization with costs Rs.750/- (Rupees Seven hundred and fifty only) within a month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
