FINAL ORDER DATED:- 09.09.2023

      The instant case is fixed today before the NATIONAL LOK ADALAT for settlement of dispute.

      The Complainant himself is present.

      Learned Advocate for the Complainant is also present.

      Learned Advocate for the Opposite Party No. 1 (L.I.C) and Learned Advocate for the Opposite Party No. 2 are also present before this LOK ADALAT.

      It is also seen from the case record that the apple of discord is for not getting the entire medical expenses by the complainant and both the parties are willing to settle their dispute amicably and the Leaned Advocate for the Opposite Party No. 1 (L.I.C) has offered Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) as settlement amount, which the Complainant has conceded and agreed to receive the same from the Opposite Party No. 1 (L.I.C). The O.P No:2 is the mere agent of the O.P No:1. Ld. Advocate for the O.P No:2 has submitted that no order can be passed against him as he is the agent of O.P No:1.

       Accordingly, the dispute is settled through LOK ADALAT today as per the agreed terms and conditions arrived at by the parties.

Hence, it is ;

 

O.R.D.E.R.E.D

The Consumer Complaint, being No: C.C- 07 of 2022 is settled amicably through Lok Adalat.

The Opposite Party No. 1 shall pay an amount of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) to the Complainant within one month from the date of this ORDER.

       The case is thus settled through LOK ADALAT and disposed of.
