ORDER

NARESH KATYAL, JUDICIAL MEMBER:

Today, this appeal is fixed for arguments. This appeal has been filed by appellant Krishan Kumar through Sh. Vansh Malhotra, Advocate. Perusal of appeal file reveals that learned counsel for appellant is not appearing continuously from 08.08.2019 onwards i.e. for last eight dates, including one today.  Today also, this appeal has been called number of times, but, none has appeared on behalf of appellant. Inept attitude of counsel for appellant for not appearing, is writ large apparent. It is already 02:35 P.M. waited sufficiently. Further wait is quite unjustified. In these circumstances, it appears to the satisfaction of this Commission that appellant is no more interested in prosecuting this appeal, which cannot be allowed to linger on for indefinite period under any circumstance mainly due to want of presence of counsel for appellant. So, this appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution and it is ordered accordingly.

2.      A copy of this order be provided to all the parties of this appeal free of cost as mandated by the Consumer Protection Act, 1986/2019. The order be uploaded forthwith on the website of the Commission for the perusal of the parties.

3.      File be consigned to the record room.

Date of Order: 07th  February, 2024
