ORDER

When matter was taken for arguments, it transpired that the matter could be settled amicably and in the deliberation, the learned counsel representing the opposite party offered to pay Rs.60,000/- as a global damages, for which the representative of the complainant who is in person submits that offer is too low and they may be directed to pay global damages of Rs.2,00,000/- which in our view found to be on higher side. Therefore, finally it is suggested that the opposite party shall pay total compensation of Rs.1,00,000*-, for which the counsel for the opposite party expressed inability of the opposite party in view of the circumstances of this. Having understand the circumstances of this case as stated by the counsel for the opposite party, the matter is settled for Rs.80,000/-. For which the representative of the complainant and counsel for the opposite party have agreed. With the above, we pass the following order:- ORDER 1. Complaint is allowed in part and the opposite party is directed to pay a total sum of Rs.80,000/- towards full satisfaction of the claim of the complainant made in this case within 15 days from the date of this order, failing which the opposite party shall pay interest at 15% p.a. from the date of this order till the date of payment. 2. Parties to bear their own costs. 3. Give a copy of this order to both the parties according to Rules.
