ORDER

This order is pronounced in the open forum on seperate sheets of paper today. 1. The complaint is allowed. 2. O.P. is directed to refund of deposite amount of Rs.63,440/- with interest of Rs.1,16,729/- from 24-2-1990 upto 30-06-05. 3. The O.P. is also directed to pay damages of Rs.60,000/- on the ground of deficiency in service. 4. The O.P. is directed to pay an amount of Rs.2,40,169/- with cost of Rs.1,000/- to the complainant on or before 30.06.2005, failing which the complainant would be entitled to recover future interest at the rate of 12% p.a. on the entire amount of Rs.2,40,169/- till the date of payment. 5. Giver free copy of this order to both parties.
