ORDER

             1) That the Proprietor and the Branch Manager of the Opposite Party are directed to jointly and severally replace the defective sofa set with a new , defect-free sofa set of the same value/standard and up to the complainant’s satisfaction, within Thirty days from the date of this order.

        2) That the Proprietor and the Branch Manager of the Opposite Party are directed jointly and severally to pay Rs 5000/- Five Thousand, Rs 10000/- minus Rs 5000/- use value of the sofa set for more than one and half years by the complainant as compensation for physical harassment and mental agony, and Rs 3000/- Three Thousand as suit cost, to the

woman complainant, within Thirty days from the date of this order.

3) That on failure of the Opposite Party to comply with any of above two executable orders within the stipulated time, the Proprietor and the Branch Manager of the O.P. shall have to pay jointly and severally an amount of Rs 100/- One Hundred per day from the lapse of stipulated time till realization, to be deposited with the State Consumer Welfare Fund.

Let copies of this order be supplied to the parties when applied for.
