This Revision Petition is listed today and after hearing the arguments of the Counsel for the Revision Petitioners and respondents in person and upon perusing the materials on record, this Commission passes the following:-

This Revision Petition is filed against the Order, dated 20.07.2022, passed by the DCDRC, Coimbatore in C.C. No.07/2022 whereby, the District Commission has set the Revision Petitioners herein/ Opposite Parties 1 & 2 exparte for non-filing of written version within the stipulated time of 45 days and consequently, adjourned the Case to 18.08.2022 for filing proof affidavit of the complainant.
2. Heard the submissions of the counsel appearing for the Revision Petitioners / Opposite parties 1 & 2 and Respondents / Complainants in person.
The revision petition has been filed by the Opposite parties 1 & 2 as against the order dt.20.07.2022 passed by the DCDRC, Coimbatore setting the revision petitioners/ Opposite parties 1 & 2 herein exparte in C.C. No.07/2022 for non-filing of written version within the stipulated time of 45 days. But the complaint has not reached any finality till date. Heard the submissions made by the Respondents / complainants in person. However, considering the non-filing of the written version within the stipulated time of 45 days by the Revision Petitioners/ Opposite parties 1 & 2 before the District Commission, Coimbatore, we thought it just and proper to allow the revision petition on condition that the Revision Petitioners/ Opposite parties 1 & 2 shall pay a sum of Rs.3,000/- as cost to the respondents / Complainants in person. Now, the said condition is complied with, since the amount is paid across the Bar.
3. In the result, the Revision Petition is allowed and the impugned order, dated 20.07.2022, passed in C.C. No.07/2022 by the DCDRC, Coimbatore in setting the Revision Petitioners/ Opposite parties exparte is set aside, and the Opposite parties shall file their Version, Proof Affidavits and the documents/exhibits on their side, if any, in C.C. No.07/2022 on the next date of hearing without fail, whereupon, the District Commission shall proceed with the case in accordance with law, for its early disposal.
