Today Ld. counsel for the complainant has received a cheque on behalf of complainant from opposite party No. 4 and has made the following statement:

“Stated that matter involved in the present case has been amicable settled between the parties and today I, on behalf of complainant Gurdev Singh, have received a cheque No. 002848 dated 12.7.2018 for Rs. 1,40,918/- (Rs. One Lac forty thousand nine hundred and eighteen only) of H.D.F.C. Bank Branch Tarn Taran payable in the name of Gurdev Singh complainant as full and final settlement of claim in this case from opposite party No. 4 i.e. Guru Nanak Dev Super Specialty Hospital Gondiwal Sahib Road Tarn Taran and now nothing is due of the complainant against the opposite party No. 4. The complainant and his mother (patient) will not claim any amount from the opposite party No. 4 in future and will not file any case in future qua the matter in dispute against opposite party No. 4 and the present complaint may be dismissed as withdrawn.”

          In view of the above said statement, the present complaint has become infructuous and the same is dismissed as withdrawn. Copy of order be supplied to the parties as per rules. File be consigned to record room.
