This O.P having been heard on 16..01..2013, the Forum on 31..01..2013 delivered the following:
ORDER
SMT. S.K.SREELA, MEMBER:
Both parties represented and complainant filed memo stating that, in the meeting of the office bearers of the complainant's Association and the opposite parties held on 11/10/2012, it was decided to remit 50% of the arrears and that separate water meter shall be installed by the opposite parties and subsequently water charges shall be revised taking 4 months average of the reading shown in the meter. Opposite party produced the minutes of the meeting. Both parties submitted that order be passed accordingly. Hence it is hereby ordered as per the minutes that each consumer of the complainant's association shall remit the 50% of the arrears before 15/3/2013, PWD shall install separate meters for every quarters and shall install meter for the main sump also. The water charges from 9/08 shall be revised on the basis of the new reading (taking 4 months average) and the same shall be applicable only to those consumers who have remitted 50% of the arrears.
A copy of this order as per the statutory requirements be forwarded to the parties free of charge and thereafter the file be consigned to the record room.
