CHANDIGARH Consumer Complaint No. 111 of 2011 Deepika Sharma aged 34 years wife of Sh.Manoj Kumar Sharma, resident of House No.1119, Sector 26, Panchkula (Haryana). – Complainant. Versus Luxmi Furniture, through its Proprietor Shop No.38, Old Ropar Road, Manimajra, U.T. Chandigarh. - Opposite Party Present: Complainant in person. Sh.Ashok Kumar, Proprietor of OP. Dated, the 8th day of April, 2011. ORDER 1. Case taken up today in the Lok Adalat. Efforts were made to settle the matter, which stood fructified and the parties have settled the dispute. Statement given by them is reproduced as under:- “Statement of Sh.Ashok Kumar s/o Late Sh.Jyoti Parshad, Proprietor of OP (luxmi Furniture, Shop No.38, Old Ropar Road, Manimajra, UT Chandigarh) The matter has been settled between the parties. As per settlement, a sum of Rs.7500/- in cash has been paid to the complainant today in the Lok Adalat towards full and final settlement. I will collect the double box bed in question from the complainant at her residence within three days from today i.e. 8.4.2011. Statement of Ms.Deepika Sharma w/o Sh.Manoj Kumar Sharma, Complainant in person. I accept the above statement given by Sh.Ashok Kumar, Proprietor of OP. I have received Rs.7500/- in cash from the OP towards full and final settlement. I will return the double box bed in question to the OP as and when he approaches me. I withdraw my complaint as satisfied” 2. The respective parties shall remain bound by their statements. 3. Keeping in view the above, since the complainant has withdrawn her complaint as satisfied, the same is allowed and the complaint is dismissed as withdrawn. 4.
