Perusal of case file shows that the complainant has paid only a single premium that too in the year 1998. There appears lapse on the part of complainant and there appears no deficiency in service on the part of opposite party because maturity of policy in the year of 2018. Moreover, there is no record available on file showing that any correspondence was made by the complainant with Life Insurance Corporation of India. Hence, the complaint, in hand, appears to be not maintainable and accordingly, dismissed. The file after registration be consigned to the Record Room.
