CONSUMER COMPLAINT  NO. 10 OF 2016

Thunga Kamala, W/o.Late Rayalingu @ Rajalingu, Age: 44 Years, Occu: House wife, R/o. H.No. 41-48, Indhira Nagar, Mandamarry Proper & Mandal of Adilabad District.

1.  The Branch Manager, LIC of India, Mancherial Branch Office, Jeevan Jyothi, Plot No. 4-95, Prabath Nagar, Near: APSRTC Bustand, Mancherial (P & M), Adilabad (D). 504208 (P).

2.   The Sr. Divisional Manager, LIC of India, Divisional Office, Jeevan Prakash, Near: Dr. Br. Ambedkar Stadium Road, Karimnagar (Post, Mandal and District), 505001.

This complaint is coming up before us for hearing on                                                25-2-2023, in the presence of Sri V.Shiva Shankar Babu, advocate for complainant and Sri P.Ashok, advocate for opposite parties, and on perusing the material papers on record and having stood over for consideration till this day, the Commission passed the following

::ORDER::

 

         Complainant and opposite party filed joint memo, the case is settled amicably outside the Commission and the opposite parties agreed to pay an amount of Rs:2,10,750/- towards death benefits covered under the policy and complainant agreed to receive the same towards full and final satisfaction of the claim.

If opposite party failed to deposit the above amount within one month from today, the amount so awarded shall carry interest at 7.5 % per annum.

Written and corrected by me, after correction the orders pronounced by us in the open court this the 25th day of February 2023.
