Today, Sh.Deepinder Singh, Adv.counsel for the complainant suffered statement that as per the averments in para 2 on merits of the reply of the opposite party that if the complainant submits the claim to the opposite party, the claim will be considered and processed and that in view of the said averments, the complainant is ready to file the claim a fresh again and the opposite party be directed to consider the same within reasonable period.
A perusal of the written version filed by the opposite party reveals that in para 2 clearly mentions that if the complainant submits the claim, as per the laid down procedure, the claims will be considered and processed as per policy conditions and for this, the opposite party require bills, discharge summaries. Since the complainant is ready to submit the requisite documents with the opposite party, as such, in our considered view, it is a fit case which can be disposed of by giving directions to both the parties.
Consequently, instant complaint is disposed of with directions to the complainant to submit the documents as demanded by the opposite party in para 2 of the written version on merits within 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of order and the opposite party is directed to decide the claim within 30 days from the receipt of the claim/documents as per the laid down procedure. Copies of the order be furnished to the parties free of costs. File be consigned to the record room.
