Muskan vs. LIC of India.

 

Present:     Complainant with Sh.Rohit Arya, Adv. for complainants.

                  Sh.Rajiv Gupta, Adv. for respondent.

                

                Dr. Karan Singh from Naharpur, Yamuna Nagar has not appeared. However, parties have entered into amicable settlement.  State of ld. Counsel for complainant and statement of complainant along with her Advocated recorded.

                In view of the statements made by the counsel for the respondent and complainant, the present complaint is accepted holding the respondents to make total payment of Rs.270000/- (Rs.two lacs seventy thousand) i.e. Rs.90,000/- (rupees ninty thousand) qua each policy bearing No. 479256035, 479256036 and 479256037 as full and final settlement. In case, the respondent will fail to make payment of the amount of Rs.270000/- as referred here-in-before within 45 days from today in that eventuality, the complainant shall be entitled to interest @6% p.a. (simple) from the date of this order.  File be consigned to the records.
