            Today is fixed for showing cause by the complainant.       

Ld. Counsel for the O.P. files hazira. No step taken by the complainant. None is present on behalf of the complainant on repeated calls. No show cause is filed by the complainant.

It is evident from the records that Vide Order No.19 dated 16.02.2018, ld. Lawyer for the complainant filed a petition stating that there is a talk of compromise between the parties. Therefore the matter is fixed for filing compromise petition, if any, i.d., necessary order will be passed. Thereafter four dates were fixed for filing compromise petition but no such petition was filed. Thereafter on consent of the parties the case record was placed before the Lok Adalat which was scheduled to be held on 14.07.2018. In the Lok Adalat the present complaint was also not settled. Thereafter on 23.07.2018 vide order No. 25 the complainant was directed to show cause as to why the case shall not be dismissed for default/ non- prosecution against her.

Today the complainant is also absent and no step is taken and show cause is also filed. Therefore, from the attitude of the complainant we are of the opinion that the complainant has lost interest to proceed with this complaint further.

            Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion that the complaint should be dismissed for non-prosecution.

Hence, it is

that the Consumer Complaint being No. 25/2017 be and the same is dismissed for non-prosecution without any cost.

Let plain copies of this order be supplied to the parties free of cost as per provisions of law.
