ORDER

Learned counsel for the parties states that the matter has been settled amicably between the parties. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner - New India Assurance Company Ltd., will pay a total sum of Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakh fifty thousand only) to respondent no. 1/ complainant as per full and final settlement. Learned counsel for petitioner further states that petitioner has already deposited a sum of Rs.3,10,590/- (Rupees three lakh ten thousand five hundred ninety only) before this Commission and this amount may be refunded to the petitioner along with upto date interest. Learned counsel for respondent agrees to the above proposal and states that there is no objection if the above amount lying deposited by the petitioner with this Commission is released to the petitioner. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the parties, petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- by way of demand draft/ cheque in favour of respondent no.1 within eight weeks from today. Thereafter, on receipt of the amount by the respondent no. 1, petitioner can withdraw the amount deposited with this Commission with upto date interest, if any. In view of the foregoing reasons, the revision petition is disposed of. Dasti in addition.
