BEFORE THE DISTRICT CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL FORUM–II, U.T. CHANDIGARH Consumer Complaint No.119 of 2013 Amandeep Singh Vs. Lenovo India Pvt. Ltd. & ors. PRESENT: Sh.Amandeep Singh, Complainant in person. Sh.Ashim Aggarwal, Counsel for OP No.1. Sh.Gaurav Bhardwaj, Counsel for OP No.2. OP No.3 ex-parte. Dated the 25th day of June, 2013 ORDER Sh.Ashim Aggarwal, Counsel for OP No.1, has made the following statement, recorded separately:- “The OP No.1 offers to refund the invoice price of Rs.31,500/- of the Laptop to the complainant, provided the complainant returns the Laptop alongwith all accessories and withdraws this complaint. This amount will be paid within 30 days from today.” Sh.Amandeep Singh, Complainant, has accepted the offer and has made the following statement, recorded separately;- “I accept the offer. I shall hand over the Laptop alongwith all accessories to the person of OP No.1, who hands over the cheque/draft to me. The complaint be disposed of accordingly.” In view of the said statements, the OP No.1 is directed to refund the invoice price of Rs.31,500/- of the Laptop to the complainant, within 45 days from today i.e. 25.06.2013, failing which the OP No.1 shall pay the agreed amount (Rs.31,500/-) along with interest @18% p.a. from the date of this order till the payment is made. The complainant shall hand over the Laptop alongwith all accessories to the representative of OPs, who hands over the cheque/draft to him. Hence, the complaint is disposed of accordingly.
