            The appellant is the opposite party in CC.1088/07 in the file of CDRF, Thrissur. The appellant is under orders to pay a sum of Rs.20,000/- towards compensation to the complainant.
          2. The appellant was ex-parte before the Forum. It is the case of the appellant that summons received was misplaced.
          3. We find that the order of the Forum is not a speaking one. In the circumstances, the order of the Forum is set aside on condition that the appellant/opposite party pay to the complainant a sum of Rs.3,000/- towards costs or deposit   the same before the Forum which can be withdrawn by the complainant. On deposit of the amount of costs or payment of the same to the complainant, the Forum will permit the opposite party to file version and contest the matter.
          4. The case stands posted before the Forum on 30.12.09
          The office is directed to forward the copy of this order to the Forum urgently.
